Things To Do
The World Heritage Jurassic Coast is a 25 minute drive and the walks along the Coastal Path offer breathtaking views and clear water for fishing, or a revitalizing swim whatever the time of year! Visiting the small, historic coastal towns of Bridport, Charmouth, Lyme Regis and Seaton opens up a world of small, quality cafes and restaurants, independent shops and timeless charm.
Walking can start here on the door step along a myriad of designated footpaths, or with an initial short car journey if a particular destination is the goal. Hushed pathways with plentiful flora and wildlife lead to iconic landmarks such as Lewesdon Hill, Pilsdon Pen, Comers Hill and Golden Cap. Beautiful patchwork farmland, wooded valleys and grassy hill tops make for a walkers paradise and special prizes such as the bluebell covered beech woodland on Lewesdon, or early morning views from Pilsdon over the Marshwood Vale, or the evening sky across Lyme Bay from Golden Cap are all worth every step of the way.
Whatever your reason for deciding to visit this beautiful part of Dorset we look forward to welcoming you and to making your stay comfortable, restful and memorable.
